French for children · Hong Kong

French homework, at your dining table.

A native French teacher travels to you once a week — your home, your office, a café near school — and works on whatever your child is actually sitting. HK$450 for the first hour. No package.

Dictée · corrected in the hour

Je vais a l'ecole avec mon frere.

Three missing accents. This is what most Hong Kong children get wrong first, and it is fixable in one sitting — not with another worksheet.

How it works

The teacher travels. You don't.

There is no centre to drive to and no 6pm MTR trip with a tired child. A teacher comes to your flat, your office, or a café near school, at a time you pick, for one hour a week. Travel is included from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, across Kowloon, and in Sai Kung and Tseung Kwan O. The south side of Hong Kong Island adds HK$50. If a week is impossible, the same hour runs online for HK$450.

Between lessons your child keeps working through the school's online platform, so the teacher arrives already knowing what stuck and what didn't.

Coverage · who comes to you

The hour itself

An hour of games. Then something to do before next week.

Children don't sit still for grammar drills after a full school day, so the lesson runs on word games, music, film and a grammar program on screen. Between lessons your child keeps working through the online platform, which is where one hour a week starts to add up.

Who comes to your home

Four teachers. Each one covers a set list of districts.

Anthony started the school and still teaches across every district. Every teacher on the team is a native French speaker who graduated in France, holds a diploma in French as a foreign language or in education and teaching, and has worked in education for over fifteen years in France and Hong Kong. Several teach in Hong Kong schools, local and international — which is why a lesson can follow the local, IB or GCSE syllabus your child is already on rather than a course of its own.

Questions parents ask

Before you book

Do we have to travel anywhere?

No. The teacher comes to your home, your office, or a café near you. Travel is included from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, in Kowloon, and in Sai Kung and Tseung Kwan O. The south side of Hong Kong Island adds HK$50. Online lessons are HK$450.

Are we committing to a package?

No minimum package is required. Most families settle into one hour a week, but that is a decision you make after the trial hour, not before it.

Will it match what my child does at school?

The teachers work in Hong Kong schools, both local and international, and follow the local, IB and GCSE curricula. Bring your child's textbook and coursework to the first hour and the lesson is built around it.

How quickly will someone reply?

Within 24 hours. If you'd rather ask something before booking anything, WhatsApp +852 9391 5114.

“They correct your mistakes in a manner that does not make you feel like you are not grasping / retaining the information.”
